The AVOVA SPERLING-FIX i-size is a completely new designed i-size seat and allows you to carry your child safely with great comfort in your car. The easy handling makes the SPERLING-FIX a very convenient seat for every family. You can switch from the built-in 5-point harness to the 3-point adult seat belt of the car – depending on your little passenger.

Our SPERLING-FIX grows with your toddler up to the age of 12. This means it is suitable for your child measuring 76 to 150 cm body height.

Improved allround protection with ISOFIX, ISIP and the ergonomic safety headrest

The safety headrest itself is designed ergonomically and made from a high-performance foam for additional, improved head protection. The different height positions provide cosy comfort for your child.

i-size quickly explained

i-size is part of the latest EU car seat approval UN ECE R-129. It has been created to make car seats even safer. i-size applies only for ISOFIX installation. For the R-129 approval of a car seat additional testing standards have been put in place, such as testing side-impact collisions and testing misuse.

Different to earlier regulations, R-129 and i-size refer to the child‘s stature. This makes it easier for you as parents to choose the right seat for your child.

When do I use the 5-point harness?

The SPERLING-FIX has an integrated 5-point harness that you use to secure your toddler (height 76 to 100cm). Once your little one grows taller, you would stow away the harness and use the 3-point seat belt of the car to secure your child.

Do I need the young child insert for the SPERLING-FIX?

Our SPERLING-FIX i-Size has received an extended approval for the R-129 from the German Federal Motor Transport Authority in summer 2020.

Prior approval: AVOVA Sperling-Fix i-Size with young child insert up to two years.
New approval: AVOVA Sperling-Fix i-Size without young child insert. The additional shock absorbing foam has been integrated into the safety headrest.

The insert is still available as an accessory. The insert has been designed specifically for babies and small children who need additional protection. When using the insert you can remove it in two steps while your child grows.
